Diana and Paulo’s wedding was held at the beautiful La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes Estates! I consider myself very lucky that I get to photograph two or three weddings here every year. La Venta Inn is known for it’s spectacular view, 1930’s architecture, delicious food and very professional staff! On top of being able to spend the day at a beautiful location with style and great food I was blessed enough to have laid back clients with a taste for creative imagery. kari and Stephen’s engagement shoot is one of my top favorites of this year! I love shooting a little beyond depictive portraiture and narrating something more than what somebody looks like. In the case of Kari and Stephen’s engagement shoot I got to do just that! The intent of these photographs is to express the personality and identity of Kari and Stephen. In doing so I used a location personally special to them as well as some live props that relate to their identity. This is the visual story of Kari and Stephen; a California Girl and a Texas Cowboy turned California Surfer. Check out some of my favorites images of one of the coolest couples of this year…

St. James Catholic Church Wedding in Redondo Beach

I was invited by my good friend Scott A. Nelson to help photograph Carolyn and Brian’s wedding ceremony at St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach. Following the wedding ceremony we went over to Malaga Cove and did some fun shots with the bride and groom and bridal party. Carolyn and Brian’s wedding reception was at La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes Estates where, as always, the food was unbelievable! Check out some of my favorite shots of the day…
